In this one-day workshop, we'll trace the history of perfumery
and begin with the first perfumes - unguents, or solid perfumes. In the afternoon, we'll blend our own perfume as
an essential oil perfume and as a solid perfume (or unguent).
In addition to providing essential
oils, carrier oils and other materials needed, Karen will allow students access to her perfumery oils, including attars, ruhs,
and other precious aromatics.
