Using Essential Oils
to Balance our Emotions - The physiology of scent tells us how deeply our emotions are affected by what we smell. Learn
why and how we can use essential oils to calm, balance, invigorate and elevate our mood and emotions. Essential oils
will be sampled as we discuss them in class. 3 hours Saturday, February 12, 2011 9am - 12 noon

Blending Essential Oils - Learn
different techniques and approaches to blending essential oils to create a synergy that will help whatever ails you!
This is a hands-on workshop where you will leave with a blend you created in class. 3 hours Saturday, March 12,
2011 9am - 12pm Fees: $49.
Natural Perfumery: Create Your Own In this hands-on workshop, you'll create your own perfume using natural essential oils. We'll start with a
brief overview of the many different approaches to perfumery and learn a few interesting facts about the history of perfumes
as well as some essential oils used in classic perfumery. This will serve as our inspiration to create your own
perfume. And you'll leave with a perfume you've made! Students should take the Blending Essential Oils class (above)
before taking this workshop. 5 hours Saturday, April 9, 2011 9am - 2pm Fees: $79.

Karen Louise Reilly, RA, NCMT is a nationally certified massage therapist,
registered aromatherapist, craniosacral therapist, Seichem Reiki Master and energy medicine practioner. In addition
to her private practice, Karen has taught massage therapy classes since 1999 and aromatherapy classes since 1997. She
is founder of OmnEssence Essential Oils. Karen published a monthly newsletter, Aromatic Healing - Using
Essential Oils for Health from 2000 - 2005. Her articles have been published in NAHA's journal
as well as other publications.
Karen Louise Reilly is approved by NCBTMB as a continuing
education provider for massage therapists. Her workshops are also approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association
for continuing education. She is a professional member of the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy
and has taught workshops at their national conferences. Karen is also a professional member of the Association
of Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
Karen draws on her experiences as a former businesswoman, mother,
healer and teacher which she generously shares with her students. Her classes and workshops combine her strengths as
a teacher and communicator with her commitment to the healing journey.
